GARDENCITY 3.0
PREMIER IN DRESDEN, 3 MAY 2013
EUROPEAN CENTER FOR THE ARTS HELLERAU
GARDENCITY 3.0 explores these implicit tensions between nature and society taking as a starting point one of the most fascinating urbanistic projects of the last century: the garden cities, approaching them through the dancer’s body of today, understood as the most sensitive and intelligent machine (fast, precise, but also open to nature, fragile). GARDENCITY 3.0 is a search for traces, for memories and landscapes which appear and disappear; a quest for new rules and dynamics that allow us to understand the new multicultural and urbanistic challenges of the XXI century.
